Dodgers Lose Close One To Cardinals

Cardinals pitcher Ryan Franklin (3.41 ERA) got the win, while Jonathan Broxton (2.50 ERA) took the loss for the Dodgers. Jeff Suppan went 6 innings for the Cardinals, allowed 5 hits, no home runs and one earned run with one walk and one strikeout. Also pitching for the Cardinals was Mitchell Boggs (2.59), Dennys Reyes (3.46), and Evan MacLane (9.00). The Dodgers’s starter Vicente Padilla went 6 innings, allowed one hit, no home runs and no earned runs with 5 walks and one strikeout. Travis Schlichting (2.60), and Justin Miller (4.44) also pitched for the Dodgers. With the win, Franklin’s record goes to 4-1, while Broxton drops to 3-1.
