The Los Angeles Dodgers did battle with the the Philadelphia Phillies yesterday at Citizens Bank Park with the Dodgers picking up the W 15 to 9. You don’t often see such high scoring games, and anyone with Phillies tickets sure got their money’s worth. This high-scoring game saw the teams combine for a whopping 24 runs! Talk about excitement!
Dodgers pitcher Vicente Padilla (3.32 ERA) got the win, while Kyle Kendrick (4.60 ERA) took the loss for the Phillies. Vicente Padilla went 5 innings for the Dodgers, allowed 6 hits, one home run and 4 earned runs with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. Also pitching for the Dodgers was Ronald Belisario (3.93), Carlos Monasterios (3.68), George Sherrill (7.00), and Octavio Dotel (4.36).
